The Bricks at Mission Viejo Lake

Jill (By Joe)

My wife is a very energetic, outgoing, and social person who always has a happy smile to share with everyone. She is also very caring and responsible. Jill truly dedicates herself in her endeavors. Jill enjoys reading, swimming, taking family photos and scrap booking with her friends. Jill is a part-time first grade teacher and loves teaching kids how to read. She loves working part time so she can have more time to participate in activities such as "Mommy and Me" music class and playgroups at the park. She has collected a variety of puppets and stuffed animals for our future children to use during storytime. Jill and Cody especially like to read books by Dr. Seuss. Jill is eagerly waiting to cuddle a new baby and hear the laughter of two kids playing together.

Jill truly loves being a "mommy!"

Joe (By Jill)

My husband is a friendly, fun loving guy who can often be found whistling around the house. He is the youngest of nine children, and often referred to as Joey. He is easy-going, loving, sympathetic, forgiving and understanding. He is kind to others, and always willing to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends. Joey is a family man. He likes to take care of our yard and he prepares many meals on the barbecue. He even cleans the house! Joe is a high school teacher and a basketball coach. He loves spending time with Cody, whether it is going to swim lessons, reading a book, playing with cars or planes, putting puzzles together or playing with the hose in the backyard. He looks forward to making great memories with Cody and a new brother or sister.

Joe just loves being a "Dad!"

Cody was born in 2005 with "Personality Plus!"

Now as a toddler, he is full of giggles, hugs, and high fives. He likes to read books, put puzzles together, and play with his cars, airplanes, and trains. He is interested in all kinds of musical instruments and his favorite activity is dancing to music. He especially enjoys playing outside. He likes bouncing balls and dunking them inside the basketball hoop. Matter of fact, his first word was, "ball." He enjoys stroller rides and family walks with our dog. The park is his favorite place. He likes to slide down the slides, climb up the big toys, and swing in delight. Cody loves to play with water. Whether it's splashing in the bath, squirting the hose, or swimming in a pool, Cody has a big smile on his face and is even willing to dump the water over his own head and laugh about it! Cody is tender-hearted, and he will make a great big brother! Giving Cody a sibling is very important to us. Cody and his new brother or sister will be able to share the common bond of being adopted and loved by us!

Our Marriage-We have been happily married for over 17 years. We were high school sweethearts and best friends. We still have a date night on the 10th of every month. We are dedicated to each other and committed to being parents. We realized that adoption is the answer to our dream of building our family. Adopting Cody in 2005 was an amazing experience. As husband and wife, we couldn't be more pleased to now be called Daddy and Mommy. Now we want to give Cody the gift of a sibling.
